SP- Tribromide Resin, MP, a highly cross-linked polystyrene resin functionalized with a
benzyltriethylammonium tribromide
 
APPLICATIONS:
  • Dry alternative for liquid bromine, similar to pyridinium tribromide
  • Highly efficient for bromination reactions requiring stoichiometric amounts of bromine
  • Stable under extended storage and limited swelling
  • Compatible in both aqueous and non aqueous solutions

 Macroporous poly (styrene-co-divinylbenzene)
Loading:       2.9 - 3.1 mmol/g (elemental nitrogen, sulphur analysis)
Bead Size:     330-1225 microns, 15-50 mesh (>90% within)
Compatible Solvents:  Polar and non polar solvents, including aqueous solvents
