PRODUCT:
SP–Trisamine Resin, MP - Fine is solid-supported Trisamine on a mixed bed of macroporous polystyrene and silicates.

APPLICATIONS:
  • SP-Trisamine Resin, MP - Fine is a polyamine-functional resin that is highly effective in scavenging excess electrophilic reagents, such as acid chlorides, sulfonyl chlorides, and isocyanates during the quenching and purification of reaction mixtures.
  • It is highly effective in scavenging of metals such as palladium, platinum, lead, nickel, cobalt, chromium and copper.
  • SP-Trisamine Resin MP - Fine has a highly cross-linked macroporous resin backbone, hence it is not dependent on swelling to be effective, making it compatible with a broad range of solvents including highly polar solvents including DMF, acetonitrile and water.
PROPERTIES:
Resin Type:  Mixed bed of Macroporous polystyrene and silicates
Loading:        2.1 - 2.0 mmol/g (based on benzoyl chloride uptake)
Bead Size:    100-200 mesh (>90% within)
Typical Scavenging: 3-5 equiv relative to acid chloride, 1-4 h, 20°C. If an additional resin-bound base is present: 1.5-3 equiv
Compatible Solvents: DCM, DMF, THF, MeOH, any non-acidic organic solvents, acetonitrile and water
