PRODUCT:
SP-Trisamine-Silica, a trisamine-functionalized silica gel

APPLICATIONS:
  • SP-Trisamine-Silica has a silica supported polyamine functional group.
  • Highly effective in scavenging metals such as Pd, Ru, Pb and Co.
  • Can be also used for scavenging of excess electrophilic reagents, such as acid chlorides, sulfonyl chlorides, and isocyanates during the quenching and purification of reaction mixtures.
  • SP-Trisamine-Silica may also be used as a weak anion exchanger, and is the closest silica equivalent of polyethyleneimine.
  • Compatible with a broad range of solvents including DMF and acetonitrile.
PROPERTIES:
Colour:  Off white powder
Category:      Base and metal Scavenger
Loading:     1.0 -1.2 mmol/g (based on Nitrogen content)
Particle Size:  Avg 40 – 62 um
Typical Scavenging: 3-5 equiv relative to acid chloride, 1-4 h, 20°C.
